Holding the activity of “Become the Change that You Want to See: Join the Ranks for Plastics and Carbon Reduction” from Dec. 12 to Dec. 23, 2022
- Theme Book Fair Content
The book fair is held in line with the goals of “Clean water and sanitation” (Goal 6), “Responsible consumption and production” (Goal 12), “Climate action” (Goal 13), “Life below water” (Goal 14), and “Life on land” (Goal 15) in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs ). The activity also focuses on the goal of practicing plastics and carbon reduction in daily life in two aspects of environmental protection: take action to reduce plastic use and transform your thoughts about reduction of plastic use. Through the book fair activity, readers can get to know how to improve water resources, reduce the use of plastic items, recognize the impact of climate change, and focus on sustainable use of marine ecology through reading. Let us do our part and become the change that we want to see.

Activity 1: Plastics reduction activity: Take action
Readers who leave a message about their tips for plastics and carbon reduction practices in daily life on “Become the Change that You Want to See: Join the Ranks for Plastics and Carbon Reduction” activity platform page of the Library Facebook fan page, show their message on their Facebook or IG (or screenshot the page) at the Library counter, and borrow any 2 books on the book fair theme during the period from Dec. 12 to Dec. 16, 2022 can receive a stylish card case as a prize. First come, first served.
Activity 2: Plastics reduction activity: Transform your mind
Readers who borrow any book on the book fair theme, write a book review (150 words), upload the review on their personal e-portfolio, show a screenshot of the page at the Library counter during the period from Dec. 19 to Dec. 23, 2022 can receive a MUJI Shopping Bag as a prize. First come, first served.

Step1: Please scan the QR-Code on the poster to participate into the course title in “Library Instruction Courses and Activities”.
Step 2: Please fill in “Library Service Quality Satisfaction Survey” to qualify for a prize drawing.
The date of the prize drawing and award ceremony will be announced separately after the end of the activity.

1. Readers can participate in lucky draw activity after they pick up an activity point card, scan the QR-Code on the vendor’s mission card, complete the mission, and complete the “Activity Quality Satisfaction Survey”.

Love Earth Activity: Periodical Give-away from Dec. 5 to Dec. 16, 2022
- Activity Procedures:
Select Chinese and English journals which expired 3 or more years ago and don’t need to be bound are collected for giving away to faculty members and students; first come, first served.
You can re-read for nostalgia, collect items on your favorite artists, for product design or university anniversary cheerleading tools design. No matter what your purpose of collecting these old volumes, giving old journals a second life shows your love for the earth.
